Configurations
Basic BackPaq Configuration
For consistent, consolidated, high-speed backup and restore operations in Windows NT and
NetWare environments, Compaq has partnered with VERITAS to provide the EBS BackPaq. The
EBS BackPaq is a product consisting of one Storage Hub 7, one FCTC, and a five server license.
This product supports five servers and up to two DLT drives using any of the EBS supported
DLT tape libraries.
Figure 2 shows a basic BackPaq configuration.
