Incorrect error message when creating 65th PiT on a virtual disk
When creating the 65th PiT on a virtual disk using the VSM CLI, you receive an error message indicating
A SCSI error in I/O to the switch. The correct error message should be the Virtual
disk has too many PiTs. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The ListSnapshots command fails to return data with too many PiTs
The ListSnapshots command with a –PiT argument does not return data with 2048 PiTs. The
ListVirtualDisks and ListSnapshots command are restricted to less than 1500 items. HP is
working to resolve this issue.
The DeleteRemoteAsyncMirrorGroup command does not work in HP-UX
In HP-UX, use the DeleteLocalAsyncMirrorGroup command in place of
DeleteRemoteAsyncMirrorGroup. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The BreakAllRemoteAsyncMirrorTasks command does not work in HP-UX
The BreakAllRemoteAsyncMirrorTasks command does not work in HP-UX and returns the
message Pass O.K. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The ? wildcard character in HP-UX is not reliable
The ? wildcard character can display VSM CLI commands that are not supported for a given command
mask. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The ResumeLocalAsyncMirrorTask command does not work in HP-UX the first time
The ResumeLocalAsyncMirrorTask command may not work until the second time it is executed
in HP-UX. Therefore, either try rerunning the command, or run the
ResumeAllLocalAsyncMirrorTasks command instead. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The ResumeLocalAsyncMirrorTask command gives error in HP-UX if already resumed
If a task has already been resumed in HP-UX, and the ResumeLocalAsyncMirrorTask command
is executed, you will receive an error message. The correct response should be the message There
is nothing to resume. HP is working to resolve this issue.
Incorrect error message when ManageSnapcloneGroup command is missing the Opcode argument
in HP-UX
If the Opcode argument is missing from the ManageSnapcloneGroup command in HP-UX, you will
receive an incorrect error message stating that both parameters are missing, instead of only the Opcode
missing. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The CreateSnapcloneGroupEx command fails with HP-UX if the group is still building
The CreateSnapcloneGroupEx command should run the first time. However, with HP-UX, if the
command is run again while the snapclone operation is still building the copy, the command fails.
You should increase the timeout argument to as long as you believe the building operation should
last. HP is working to resolve this issue.
The CreateSnapshotWithLun command fails to get last PiT instance for Pit26 with HP-UX
In HP-UX, use the SetUDHVirtualDiskLun command to change the snapshot LUN number. HP is
working to resolve this issue.
Do not use DeleteVirtualDisk command with LastInstance argument in HP-UX
In HP-UX, the use of the LastInstance argument with the DeleteVirtualDisk command is not
supported at this time. HP is working to resolve this issue.
