To obtain the IBM AIX MPIO ODM for SVSP:
1. Go to http://www.hp.com/go/svsp and click Support & Documents.
2. Click Download drivers and software.
3. In the Search field at the top of the page, enter AIX ODM and click the search arrows.
4. The search results should list the IBM AIX MPIO ODM for SVSP high in the rankings. Click on the
link in the search rankings to take you to the web page.
Devices supported
See the HP Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge (SPOCK) website at http://www.hp.com/storage/
spock for approved driver and firmware versions for host bus adapters used with AIX, HP-UX, Linux,
Microsoft Windows Server, Sun Solaris, and VMware operating systems. Site registration is required.
SVSP-supported storage arrays

spock for a list of SVSP-approved storage arrays. Site registration is required.
With SVSP 3.0.4 and above, using the HP EVA4400, EVA6400, or EVA8400 arrays requires the
use of controller software XCS10000000 or above.

Maximum capacity per system: 2 PB
Maximum number of VSMs per system: 2
Maximum number of DPMs per system: 4 DPM groups with maximum of 2 DPMs per group
Maximum number of array ports: 128
For example:
32 arrays with 4–ports each
16 arrays with 8–ports each
Any combination totalling up to 128 ports
Maximum number of servers (with 2 HBA ports/server) per DPM pair: 512 (2048 with 4 DPM
pairs)
Maximum number of tasks per domain (total snapclones, async mirrors, and internal migrations):
512
Maximum HBAs per server: 8 (Windows/DSM limit)
