You may have to install a low profil

e bracket to complete the product

installation. The low profile bracket replaces the existing high profile

bracket shipped on the product.

To install a low profile bracket:

Review the Electrostatic Discharge information in Appendix B of the

user guide.

Using a correctly sized slotted screwdriver, carefully remove the two

board lock screws, located at the

top and bottom of the connector.

Remove the high profile bracket and place the low profile bracket

over the connector. Be careful not to damage the connector or bind

the high profile bracket to the connector.

Using a calibrated torque slotte

d screwdriver, take the screws

removed in step 2, and insert them at the top and bottom of the

connector. Ensure that the torque

screwdriver is set for a maximum

torque of 3.0 +/- 0.5 inch pounds.

WARNING: Exceeding this torque

specification may damage the board,

connectors, or screws and voids

the warranty of the board.
