In this arrangement, any one branch circuit or any one 30A PDU can fail
without shutting the system down. This reduces single point of failure to
the facility power circuit providing power to the PDU or PowerTrust
UPS.
Site-level Power High Availability
Some customer sites with critical applications may require high
availability power beyond the scope of the equipment provided by
Hewlett-Packard. Computer room high-availability can be achieved by:
• multiple substation power feeds off a single power substation
• feeds from multiple power substations
Such implementations are costly and complex, but have the advantage of
eliminating single point of failure to the equipment.
