Serviceguard Manager
In addition to the port requirements above for using the COM,
Serviceguard Manager has the following port requirements:
The Serviceguard node must allow the following communications:
from the Serviceguard Manger node:
udp on port 161
to the Serviceguard Manger node:
udp on port 162
The Serviceguard Manager node must allow the following
communications:
from the cluster nodes:
udp on port 162
to the cluster nodes:
udp on port 161
NOTE If you suspect that the firewall is blocking communications, you can add
-j LOG before the last line in your iptables file (for example
/etc/sysconfig/iptables) to log any blocked ports. Consult your
Linux distribution’s documentation on firewalls for information on
iptables.
