The HP Serviceguard toolkit for EDB PPAS (EnterpriseDB Postgres Plus Advanced Server) integrates
and runs EDB PPAS in the Serviceguard for Linux environment.
What is in this version
The HP Serviceguard toolkit for EDB PPAS (EDB PPAS toolkit) includes support for:
• Start, stop, and monitor of PPAS database server.
• Cluster verification.
• Alert notification through email.
• Online modification of package attributes for the EDB PPAS toolkit.
• EDB PPAS toolkit support on RHEL 5.10, RHEL 6.5, and SLES 11 SP3.
NOTE:
• The EDB PPAS toolkit supports only Serviceguard modular style packages.
• Serviceguard Manager does not support configuring or managing the EDB PPAS toolkit
package.

The patch ID SGLX_00479 is for RHEL5, SGLX_00480 is for RHEL6, and SGLX_00481 is for
SLES11.
