Using the Support Software CD in offline mode
Use the Support Software CD in offline mode to run the Array Configuration Utility (ACU) or the Array
Diagnostics Utility (ADU), where applicable.
To use the Support Software CD in offline mode:
1. Complete hardware installation and configuration. See the user documentation shipped with the
product.
2. Boot the server from the Support Software CD.
3. After you have read, understood, and agreed to the license screen, the Home screen appears.
4. Configure the server.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each applicable product.
Using the Array Configuration Utility in offline mode
To configure logical drives and arrays before installing an operating system (offline), use the Array
Configuration Utility (ACU) version shipped on the Support Software CD or later.
To run ACU offline:
1. Complete the steps listed in Using the Support Software CD in offline mode.

Configuration Utility User Guide available on the Documentation CD shipped with the product.

At the Home screen, click Configure Array. ACU launches.
