Cache Module LEDs
The cache module has two runtime LEDs that indicate various activities and error conditions.
Figure 1-3 illustrates their location, and Table 1-4 describes how to interpret them.

Fast Blink
One of these conditions is present:
There is a short circuit across the battery terminals or within the
battery pack.
The host controller is updating the cache micro controller firmware.
SteadyAmber2
There is an open circuit across the battery terminals or within the battery
pack.
Fast Blink
The cache contains data that has not yet been written to the drives. This
display pattern may occur after the system is powered down; restore
system power within four days to prevent data loss.
Slow Blink (once
every 16
seconds)
