Document Organization
The HP Smart Array P800 Controller Installation Guide is divided into several chapters containing
information about installing the Smart Array controller hardware and drivers on HP-UX and
OpenVMS. There are also several appendixes containing supplemental information.
Chapter 1 HP-UX Installation This chapter covers Smart Array P800 Controller installation
for HP-UX, including hardware requirements, software requirements, firmware
requirements, and setting up logical drives as boot devices.
Chapter 2 OpenVMS Installation This chapter covers Smart Array P800 Controller
installation for OpenVMS, including hardware requirements, software
requirements, firmware requirements, and setting up logical drives as boot
devices.
