RAID-01 (ciss) B.11.31.0903 Mass Storage Driver Release Notes, Edition 3 (September 2009)

This document provides updated information about the March 2009 release of the RAID-01
bundle for HP-UX 11i v3.
Changes From Edition 2
• Adds two items to Section 4.3 (page 6) which describe special considerations that apply
when installing or upgrading to HP-UX 11i v3 Application Release 0909 on a server with
an MSA2300 Series enclosure.
Changes From Edition 1
• Adds the HP 508226-B21 Smart Array P700m adapter to the list of supported products.
1 RAID-01 Overview
The RAID-01 bundle contains the ciss driver for the HP A9890A, A9891A, A7143A, AD397A
and AD348A (P400), AD335A (P800), and 508226-B21 (P700m) host bus adapters running on
HP-UX 11i v3 platforms. This release includes the following:
