2 New and Changed Features in This Release
2.1 New Features
The following features are new with this version of RAID-01:
• Display Maximum Number of Configurable Drives in sautil
The sautil utility now displays the maximum number of configurable drives connected
to a Smart Array controller. This information appears in the “CONTROLLER
INFORMATION” section of the sautil output.
• Display Controller Card Model in dmesg/console
The ciss driver now displays the controller model for each Smart Array controller in the
system console. In previous versions, the controller model was not displayed.
For example:
CISS: RAID SA 6402 controller on hardware path 0/5/1/0/4/0 is now online.
2.2 Changed Features
There are no changed features included in RAID-01 at the time of this publication.
