This document provides updated information about the September 2009 release of the RAID-01 bundle for HP-UX 11i v3.

2.2 Changed Features The following feature was introduced in RAID-01 version B.11.31.0906 with limited controller support; it is now supported on all Smart Array controllers: • The ciss driver creates a virtual bus interface to support up to 1024 devices or lun paths. B.11.31.0906 installed. Updating the server with update-ux will not downgrade the RAID-01 driver, but running AR0909 with RAID-01 B.11.31.0906 is not a supported configuration. To run AR0909 on a server with an MSA2300 enclosure, you must install the RAID-01 B.11.31.0909 bundle after updating the operating system.
