The RAID-01 bundle now supports the embedded HP Smart Array P410i controllers in HP
Integrity BL8X0c i2 servers running HP-UX 11i v3. For more information on these servers,
see the server documentation on the HP website at:

• Support for Host Bus Adapter (HBA) mode on Smart Array P410i controllers.
The RAID-01 bundle now supports HBA mode on the Smart Array P410i controller. In HBA
mode, physical disks are directly exposed to the operating system as SAS disks; the RAID
features of the Smart Array controller are not used in this mode.
HBA mode can be configured offline with the saupdate utility. For more information on
determining and changing the controller mode, see the User Service Guide for your server.
