fcrEnable
Enables the FC Routing service on the switch.
Synopsis fcrenable
Description Use this command to enable the Fibre Channel (FC) Routing service on a switch. In Fabric OS v5.1 the
FC Routing service is enabled by default. In Fabric OS v5.2 the FC Routing service is disabled by default,
and this commmand must be executed to enable it. Use fosConfig --show to determine the default state
of the FC Routing service, and then use the appropriate operands to enable or disable it.
This command can be run while the switch state is "online". If fcrEnable is issued while the switch is
still busy disabling the FC routing feature (for instance, right after a fcrDisable was issued), the message
"FC Routing service is in the process of being disabled, please try again after a few minutes." will be
displayed. If this happens, just wait a few minutes before again issuing fcrEnable.
Use switchShow or fosConfig to display the current state of the FC Routing service.
If issued while the FC Routing service is already enabled, then the message, "FC Routing service is
already enabled" is displayed.
