killTelnet
Terminates an open telnet session.
Synopsis killtelnet
Description Use this command to terminate an open telnet session. The killTelnet command is an interactive menu-
driven command. Upon invocation, it lists all the current telnet and serial port login sessions. It lists
information such as the session number, login name, idle time, IP address of the connection, and
timestamp of when the login session was opened. A prompt is then displayed, at which point you can
specify the session number of the connection you want to terminate.

The list of open sessions displayed with killTelnet includes the user’s current session. Make sure you do
not kill your own telnet session.

The execution of this command is subject to Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place.
Examples To terminate an open telnet connection:
switch:admin> killtelnet
