Chapter 10, Diagnostic Features
In the section “Diagnostic Port” on page 92, in the fourth paragraph, change the second sentence
from this:
D_Port configuration fails if the port is configured in R_RDY mode, encryption mode, or
compression mode.
To this:
D_Port configuration fails if the port is configured in encryption mode or compression mode.
In the procedure for configuring a D_Port diagnostics session on page 93, add the following note
after step 2:
If you are using D_Ports on active DWDM links, use the dwdm option on the portcfgdport
--enable command. The dwdm option skips the optical loopback test, which is not supported
on active DWDM links.
In the section “D_Port limitations” on page 95, after the sentence “D-Port functionality is not
supported with:” remove the following bullet item:
• R_RDY mode
