All C-Series switches can be managed with the command-line interface (CLI) or Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP). The graphical user interfaces (GUI) used to manage all C-Series
switches is Cisco Fabric Manager and Cisco Device Manager.
FICON Support
FICON is supported with SAN-OS on the MDS 9200 and 9500 series switches. Please contact an
HP storage representative for information on supported versions and configurations.
Hardware Components
The following Cisco MDS 9000 Family hardware components are not supported by HP:
• Cache Services Module (CSM)
• Advanced Services Module (ASM)
