About the Topology Tab
The Topology tab provides a graphical representation of your storage network.
• Left pane - Provides a path view of the Oracle database. When you select an element in the left
pane, its location is shown in the right pane.
• Right pane - Provides a logical diagram of the storage network. From the Topology tab, you
can determine the location of a device on the network. For example, you could use the Topology
tab to find which tablespace uses a given data file.
From the Topology tab, you can obtain information about the host, Oracle instance, database
instance, control files and redo files by double-clicking its icon in the topology.
