Rescan all HBAs by entering the following command:
# hp_rescan -a
NOTE: If LUNs that were not visible in the cat /proc/scsi/scsi display
become visible after the hp_rescan -a, do the following:
a. Run the pbl utility to probe the LUNs by entering the following:
# cd /opt/hp/hp_fibreutils/pbl
# ./pbl_inst.sh -i
b. Restart the Linux host.
c. Repeat step 13 and step14.

Re-mount the MSA LUNs on the Linux server.

Repeat this migration procedure on each Linux server with access to the MSA.

Migration is complete.
Consider the following optional procedure:
By default, the firmware automatically distributes ownership of the LUNs between the
two MSA controllers. If desired, manually set the preferred path for a LUN (controller
ownership) as documented in the HP Array Configuration Utility user guide or the HP
StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000/1500cs Command Line User Interface user
guide, available on the MSA1000 website: http://www.hp.com/go/msa1000
and
the MSA1500 website: http://www.hp.com/go/msa1500cs
