Known issues
• The devices should be
presented on all paths to the
host (selective presentation
of devices on specific host
paths is not supported).
• On an y one host, all host
bus adapters must be of the
same type.
• For cluster environments, only
Microsoft Cluster Service is
supported.
• When you configure a new
server cluster on a computer
running Windows 2003,
the cluster software may
not automatically bind to
the shared drives. To work
around this issue, turn off
load balancing on the
shared drives before starting
the installation of a new
server cluster.
• Load balancing is not
supported in a cluster
environment.
• It is recommended to install
HP MPIO Full-Featured DSM
for Windows for MSA Disk
Arrays before installing the
Microsoft Cluster Service.
• Disabling a host bus adapter
from Device Manager may
result in I/O errors.
• On Windows Server 2003
for Itanium-based systems
and Windows Server 2003
x64 Editions, only 16 paths
per device are supported
with this package.
