• If you enter an IP address in IPv4 format, you must also enter the subnet mask ID, and
it must be in IPv4 format.
• If you enter an IP address in IPv6 format, do not enter a subnet mask value. The IPv6
address should be in the IPv6 address/IPv6 prefix format.

8. Verify the connectivity of the configuration. Click Verify IP Connectivity.
The IP connectivity of the connection is tested with the ping utility. If the IP connectivity is not
valid, the details appear in the window, as shown in Figure 191.

9. Click Next. Configure the tunnel settings in the Configure Tunnel page, shown in Figure 192.
