slotPowerOff

Removes power from a slot.

Synopsis slotpoweroff slotnumber

Description Use this command to turn off the power to a blade unit. The slot must have a valid blade unit

present and the blade unit must be of a type that can be powered off.

The execution of this command is subject to Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place.

Operands This command has the following operand:

slotnumber Specify the slot number of the blade to be powered down. This operand is

required.

Examples To power off blade unit 3:

switch:admin> slotpoweroff 3

Slot 3 is being powered off
