Indicates whether this connectivity unit is the principal unit within the group of fabric elements. If

this value is not applicable, it returns “unknown.”

If the switch is principal, this is set to 3 (yes); otherwise, for a fabric switch it is set to 2 (no). For a

Brocade Access Gateway device, since the switch is behaving as a device management tool and

not a Fibre Channel switch, the value is set to 1 (unknown).

Values Possible values are:
