Restrictions
Secure Fabric OS commands, zoning commands, and some management server commands must
be entered through the primary FCS switch.

Secure Fabric OS Commands
The Secure Fabric OS commands provide the following capabilities:
Enable and disable secure mode
Fail over the primary FCS switch
Create and modify Secure Fabric OS policies
View all Secure Fabric OS-related information
Modify passwords
Create and remove temporary passwords
View and reset Secure Fabric OS statistics
View and reset version stamp information
Most Secure Fabric OS commands must be executed on the primary FCS switch when secure mode
is enabled. For a list of restricted commands, see “Command Restrictions in Secure Mode” on
page 86.
Table 1 lists all the commands available for managing Secure Fabric OS.
