Install FS Option for Windows

Prerequisites

FS Option for Windows is supported only on the 64-bit versions of the

following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2003 SP1 Standard or Enterprise Edition

• Windows Server 2003 SP2 Standard or Enterprise Edition

• Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard or Enterprise Edition

Before installing FS Option for Windows, you will need to install

PolyServe Matrix Server on each node in the matrix.

Installation Procedure

FS Option for Windows must be installed on each server in the matrix

that will be providing file shares. To install the product, insert the

product CD into the CD drive or go to the location where you have

downloaded the software. Then double-click the file

MxFS_CIFS_3.6.0.<xxxx>.<arch>.msi to run the Installation Wizard.
