all required parameters are provided. Arguments between “[ ]” are optional and arguments with “...
accept multiple values.
Command options
-f <filename>
Get the commands from a batch file (used with the cvcli command when starting the CLI and with the
execute command in an interactive session). Specify a path and filename.
-p <user>/<password>
Bypass the login screen (used only when starting the CLI).
-o <filename>
Send the results to a file instead of displaying them on the screen. Specify a path and filename.

List the output one page at a time.
-csv
List the output as comma separated values. The default output format is space separated.
-l

CLI output for mainframe volumes
With the XP128/XP1024/XP10000/XP12000, mainframe volumes can be managed using the
Command View GUI when the mainframe feature license keys are installed. The Command View CLI does
not support the display or management of mainframe information. When mainframe feature licenses are
installed, the output for the following commands contains a message indicating that information for
mainframe and intermediate volumes is not displayed.
