transmit-holdcount
Configures the maximum number of Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) transmitted per second for
the Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and the Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol RSTP.
Synopsis transmit-holdcount number
no transmit-holdcount
Operands number Specifies the value in seconds for the number of BPDUs than can be sent
before pausing for 1 second. The range of valid values is 1-10.
Defaults The default is 6.

Protocol Spanning Tree MSTP mode
Description Use this command to configure the BPDU burst size by changing the transmit hold count value. Use
the no transmit-holdcount command to return to the default setting.
