Installing and Configuring the Director 2/64
Unpack and Inspect the Director
Unpack and inspect the director as follows:
1. Inspect the shipping container for damage caused during transit.
2. Unpack the shipping cartons.
WARNING: The Director 2/64 weighs approximately 115 pounds. Use proper
handling and lifting equipment to reduce the possibility of injury or product
damage.
3. Verify carton contents, as shown in Figure 2–1 and Table 2–1 for HP
9000/10000/11000 rack kit and Figure 2–2 and Table 2–2 for the HP rack
system/e and industry-standard 19-in rack.
IMPORTANT: If any items are damaged or missing, please contact a Hewlett-Packard
authorized service provider or reseller.
