9. To change director network addresses, type the following at the C> prompt and
press Enter.
ipconfig xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy.zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz
The IP address format is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. The subnet mask format is
yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy. The gateway address format is zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz. The octets xxx,
yyy, and zzz are decimals from 0 through 255. If a network address is to remain
unchanged, type the current address in the respective field.
When the new network addresses are configured at the director, the message
Request completed OK displays at the bottom of the HyperTerminal
window.
10. Choose Exit from the File drop-down menu.
11. Click Yes .
12. Click No to exit and close the HyperTerminal application.
13. Power off the maintenance terminal:
a. Choose Start > Shut Down. The Shut Down Windows dialog box displays.
b. Choose Shut down and click Ok to power off the PC.
14. Disconnect the RS-232 null modem cable from the director and the maintenance
terminal. Replace the protective cap over the maintenance port.
