Prepare the switch for installation

The following section describes how to install the mounting hardware that attaches the switch to the

rails. This hardware includes:

• Two front mounting brackets

• Two rear mounting plates

• Eight 10-32, flat-head Phillips screws

Use these steps to secure the mounting hardware to the switch (Figure 23):

1. Locate the two front mounting brackets in the shipping carton.

2. Position the front mounting bracket (5) so that the bracket’s angled side faces out and is on the

upper part of switch side.

3. Attach the bracket with 10-32, flat-head Phillips screws (4) using the two center threaded holes

on the front side of the switch.
