Error message appears when deleting a circuit
While trying to delete a circuit, the following message appears and the delete operation fails:
The Operation has Failed error: Failed to remove FCIP circuit. Error
issuing delete to port. Removing from config database. It is recommended
to reboot, to clean up active port config
HP recommends that you reboot the switch, and then retry the operation.
IFL connection shown in Topology after deleting all VE-VEX tunnels present
between 1606 Extension SAN switches
After deleting all VE-VEX tunnels present between the HP StorageWorks 1606 Extension SAN Switches,
the IFL connection is displayed in the Topology. HP recommends that you unmonitor, and then remonitor
the switch.
After a switch is converted to Access Gateway, an extra HBA icon is displayed
in Topology.
When a switch is converted to Access Gateway mode, both HBA and Access Gateway are displayed
in the fabric with the same WWN. HP recommends that you unmonitor, and then remonitor the fabric
so the HBA is removed from the Topology.
After an Access Gateway is converted to switch mode, it still appears as Access
Gateway
In a migrated server, if Access Gateway mode is disabled in the discovered fabric, it continues to
appear as Access Gateway and the end device to which it is connected is not displayed. HP
recommends that you unmonitor, and then remonitor the fabric.
Access Gateway-to-switch connection is not displayed after fabric merge
When the fabrics are merged, the Access Gateway-to-switch connection is not displayed. HP
recommends that you unmonitor, and then remonitor the fabric.
F_Ports connected to an Access Gateway are not displayed as attached ports
under the switch
If an Access Gateway is connected to a switch, F_Ports connected to the Access Gateway do not
appear as attached virtual ports under the switch. HP recommends that you launch a new client.
Quorum card options are enabled in mixed FOS encryption group
If an encryption group is created with an FOS 6.3.0 switch and another switch with 6.2.0x encryption,
the quorum card option and system card option are enabled on the Security tab. HP recommends
that the switches in an encryption group have the same FOS (6.3.0) to maximize quorum card and
system card support.
