Known issues
9808 PFS or CIFS prepopulation share names or comments should not use any characters other than
letters, numbers, underscore, space, or backslash (directory separator).
10453 If the origin folder in PFS is deleted or made inaccessible, PFS share deletion silently fails
without notifications or error messages.
10692 User can still access mapped PFS shares from Windows XP client even while sharing was
disabled for the PFS shares. Workaround: Restart PFS. Restarting PFS results in all new smbd processes
picking up the required change.
11140 When viewing the Management Console web interface, Microsoft Internet Explorer may crash
when using a custom time interval for some statistics graphs. Also, on the throughput graph, Microsoft
Internet Explorer may display the same value for both LAN and WAN. The workaround is to try Firefox
or a different version of Internet Explorer.
11519 Spurious asymmetric route (probe filtering) disables PFS.
12878 Rare kernel crash with "Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address
00000081".
14234 After RAID error, forcing disk online leaves data store in a bad state, and this leads to many
pages being killed. Crash occurred in an error handling path of hte code. Disks should never be
forced online during operation.
14350 Rare sport crash due to abort in DataBuf::skip when called from EscPacker::handle_event.
15113 On factory fresh appliance, primary interface tries to get DHCP address, even though
configuration shows "no interface primary dhcp".
16118 Crash in Smb::File::process_locking_andx_request_for_fe_issued_fid when overlapping open
support is enabled.
16309 sport crash in NFS with "[SunRpc-CFE/NfsV3Parser.WARN] - {- -}get_configuration_for_reply:
no fsid found for target".
16544 Rare NFS crash involving corrupt file handles.
16769 MAPI: attachment may be damaged in rare situation when mail arrives in Inbox at exact same
time that user tries to sync folder.
16770 Deadlock involving megaraid driver.
16856 Need to use higher resolution clock source for QoS on x86_64 (i386 already had it).
17029 CIFS problem when extracting with WinZip onto remote mapped drive.
17217 Sport crash with "Unknown event EVENT_READABLE from EVSRC_NETWORK".
17360 Sport crash with message "DEADLOCK: EventThread(pool)[LWP 4300] 0x8db9100 is NOT
healthy" while doing CIFS.
17844 When performing remote computer management over the WAN to a site that contains a
steelhead, we are unable to be view the "Share Permissions" tab of the far end file server - error
"Unable to display security information". this does not happen to all folders. with pass-through all is
good.
