install, configure, and administer a network made up of multiple HP EFS WAN Accelerators using the
HP StorageWorks Enterprise File Services WAN Accelerator Manager.

how to install bypass cards in the HP EFS WAN Accelerator.

Hardware and software requirements
The following table summarizes the hardware and software requirements for the HP EFS WAN Accelerator.

Troubleshooting Guide for more information on grounding.
New features in version 2.1.5
The following features are available in this release:
Support for new models
Support for the DL320-520, DL320-1020, and DL320-2020 models has been added. These new models,
based on HP ProLiant DL320 G4 servers, provide greater optimized bandwidth and TCP connections. The
DL320-520 supports 1Mbps bandwidth and 300 connections (150 with PFS enabled). The DL320-1020
supports 2Mbps bandwidth and 625 connections (200 with PFS enabled). The DL320-2020 supports
10Mbps bandwidth and 2000 connections (1000 with PFS enabled).
The DL320-520 now supports Proxy File Service (PFS).
Support for new Bypass NICs
The DL380-3010 and DL380-5010 models now support multiple N2c and N2f Bypass NICs. Each model
now supports up to two of the same card.

HP EFS WAN Accelerator
Command-Line Interface
An ASCII terminal or emulator that can connect to the serial console
(9600 baud, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, and no flow control) or a
computer with a Secure Shell (ssh) client that is connected by an IP
network to the HP EFS WAN Accelerator primary interface.
Secure Shell (ssh). Free ssh clients include PuTTY for Windows®
computers, OpenSSH for many Unix and Unix-like operating
systems, and Cygwin.
