The Agent program is installed. It was automatically started if you typed Y to start the
Agent during the installation. It will restart automatically after a system restart or if it
stops for any reason.
Running the Agent
The Agent program was automatically started when you installed it, and it was installed to
restart automatically if the system is restarted or it stops for any reason.
The installation script places an entry in the “/etc/inittab” file to implement automatic
execution of the Agent. The tag field in the file is “steam”.
Reconfiguring the Agent
You can reconfigure previously-installed Agents using the configuration and installation
program. To reconfigure an Agent execute the .Stgwks_sgi.sh script in /usr/stgwks
the StorageWorks Installation and Configuration directory (/usr/stgwks) and follow the
prompts to Agent maintenance.
Removing the Agent
You can remove the Agent program by using the Agent Maintenance option from the
Stgwks_sgi.sh Bourne-shell script.
