NOTE: Choosing either disabling CCL under SCSI-2 or enabling SCSI-3 will require you to make
an initial serial line connection to your HSG80 controller.
For the HSG80 controllers and KGPSA adapter driver, if you plan to connect to a Fibre
Channel fabric switch, change to Fabric mode. Information about other operating system
and heterogeneous configuration requirements are available in application notes at the

If you plan to install Secure Path software, select multiple-bus failover mode in both of
your HSG80 controllers. Instructions are available in the Secure Path software kit.
Installing the RAID Windows NT and
Windows 2000 Device Driver
The Fibre Channel Software and RAID Windows NT (HszDisk.sys) or Windows
2000(HszDisk.sys) Device Driver software is installed on your host server from the RAID
Array Software Solution CD-ROM. After you insert the CD-ROM, the program should
start automatically.
NOTE: If the program does not start automatically after inserting the CD-ROM, go to the
CD-ROM drive directory and click install.bat. in the root directory.
The software installation program provides one main option: Solution Software for ACS
Version 8.6.
1. Select the
Solution Software option.
2. Select the
KGPSA Upgrade option.
NOTE: The driver upgrade can be skipped by selecting Skip Driver upgrade at the bottom of the
screen, although this is not recommended.
3. Select the Fibre Channel Software Setup option from the menu that appears after the driver
upgrade is completed.
4. Choose the setup that matches your system configuration from the four options that are
presented.
