An HP authorized ser vice provider will assist with the installation of the EVA 3000/5000 hardware and

software components. You should not attempt to install or set up the Enterprise Virtual Array without

contacting an HP authorized service provider.

Storage Management Server software The following software is used to manage the EVA3000/5000: • HP StorageWorks Command View EVA 7.0.1 • HP OpenView Storage Management Appliance software 2.1—If an SMA is being used to manage the storage system, it must be running version 2.1 of the SMA software. Storage system software The HP StorageWorks VCS 4.100 software must be installed on the EVA3000/5000. This software is preinstalled on each new storage system; it should not be necessary to reinstall it.
