4. Select Launch Default M ail Client. The location of the report is displayed.

5. Manually at tach the raw report created and send the report to the following e-mail address:

SAN_Visibility@hp.com

The report will be processed and the formatted report retu rned to you within one business day.

6. When you rec eive the formatted report, save i t to a temporary location on the management server.

Reading the report

1. Locate the returned report ﬁle and double-click on it. The contents are extracted and copied to

alocalfolder

. If you used the d efault location during installation, this will be in the \Program

Files\Hewle

tt-Packard\HP SANVisibility\ExtractedProcessReports folder .

2. Select the report folder a nd double-click on the index.html ﬁle to open the report in your browser.

3. In the left navigation pane, click High Level Fabric Summa ry.

5. For each HBA, comp are the indicated driver and ﬁrmware versions to the versions supported by

XCS 6.200. This information is included in the appropriate HP StorageWorks 4x00/6x00/8x00

Enterprise Virtual Array 6.2A or later connectivity release notes. See Table 3 on page 11 for the link

to these documents. If the ﬁrmware is not at the indicated version or later, upgrade the ﬁrmware.
