If Critical events have occurred, perform the steps outlined in the corrective action codes to

3. Verify that no changes to the storage system conguration are in progress. For example, you should
not be in the process of creating a virtual disk. Conguration changes should not be made within 48
hours b efore beginning the upgrade. Proactive event notication can be used to alert you if a critical
event occurs d uring the 48 hours before the upgrade.
NOTE:
The leveling process does not i mpact the upgrade. If leveling is in progress, the upg rade
can be p erformed. The leveling will be suspended during the upgrade and resumed
when the upgrade is complete.
Ensure you suspend any processes or applications that may change the storage system
conguration, such as backups and snapshot creation or deletion. Stop an y HP Storage
System Scripting Utility scripts that are scheduled to run automatically.
