1. Run HP Command View EVA and log in.
2. Select the storage system whose logs you want to view.
3. Click View events to view the event logs that c a n be displayed.

ems with multiple resynchronizations (Step 10)
During the upg
rade process, both controllers per form a resynchronization simultaneously. This invokes a
fast restart
of the controllers bypassing execution of lengthy hardware diagnostics. This fast restart
allows the co
ntrollers to complete the resynchronization sequence before the host timeout period elapses
and the host becomes awa re that the storage system is unavailable.
If an event occurs that causes a second resynchronization while the rmware upgrade resynchronization
is still in progress, the controller will terminate with a co d e of 0b 08 01 00.Thefollowingevents
cause the controller to resysnchronize automatically:
Initializa
tion of the storage system
Setting debug ags through the command line interface or OCP
Occurrence of a disk group hardware problem on a Vraid1 virtual disk, or the return of a disk
during thi
s condition
Bad B lo ck Replacement (BBR) per formed on a disk
Memory allocation failure or other errors
Every eff
