HP Fabric OS 6.2.2f Release Notes (5697-1756, February 2012)

Table 8 Fabric OS 6.2.1 closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed defect summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1Unable to get F_Ports (trunk ports) data from Web Tools, but CLI works.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1Fabric becomes unstable after changing EX_Port trunk to E_Port trunk.
Switches bounce between reachable and unreachable in edge fabric.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1Fabric OS 6.2 RADIUS Calling-station-ID (31) implementation is used for
both device called by and workstation called from host
name/IP address. As a result, RADIUS will not work properly and restriction
of host access is not possible.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1When the host transmits PLOGI to the name server in Access Gateway
mode, the name server responds with ACK then ACC. The AG forwards
the ACC to the host, which responds with ACK, but it never gets forwarded
back to the name server, causing the exchange to abort.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1OpenVMS init command does not complete, which prevents OpenVMS
from mounting the file system with either the HP StorageWorks Encryption
SAN Switch, or the encryption blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1During blade insertion or switch power up, the port fence disabled ports
that are running diagtest trigger blade fault during blade POST.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director temperature sensor reported spurious
readings leading to the CRITICAL HIL-1502 message without having
first issued the HIL-1501 warning.
Workaround prior to update: Ignore
isolated/spurious high temperature
CRITICAL errors when not preceded by
warnings.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1After a power cycle, HIL-1610 WARNING appeared on the HP
StorageWorks 8/40 SAN Switch, reporting that Fan/PS unit 1 was not
supplying power; fan speeds were not available.
Workaround prior to update: This warning
can be safely ignored when seen at boot
time. It is caused by a single false sensor
reading below minimum.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch can go to the faulty state after
upgrading to any Fabric OS 6.2.0x version.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1Firmwarecommit can fail on the HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch
or encryption blade with a message about a missing properties file when
upgrading to Fabric OS 6.2.0d or later.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1An internal timing race condition can cause one or more F_Ports or E_Ports
to be brought down, leading to frame discards. The port will be brought
back online automatically at the end of the HA or firmware upgrade
operation.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.2.1In a FICON environment, some frame drops occur on TI zone-enabled ISLs
during an upgrade to or from Fabric OS 6.2.0x. This causes Interface
Control Checks (IFCCs) to be reported.
