HP StorageWorks EVA iSCSI Connectivity Option 9.0 Release Notes (5697-0510, June 2010)

Description
The EVA iSCSI Connectivity Option (mpx100) provides iSCSI connectivity to EVA Fibre Channel
storage systems.
You can order the following EVA iSCSI Connectivity Options with the part numbers indicated:
• AE324A with an EVA storage system or to upgrade an existing EVA storage system. This option
includes one hardware unit and the components needed for installation in any EVA cabinet.
• AE325A with the AE324A Connectivity Option and an EVA storage system with iSCSI connectivity
to provide high-availability multipath connectivity or to upgrade an existing EVA storage system
for multipathing. This option includes a redundant hardware unit for customers who require high
availability.
Purpose of the update
The mpx100 firmware version for this release is 2.4.4.2. This release includes the following fixes and
updates:
• mpx100 iSCSI ports hang when properties are modified
• Failure to connect to the mpx100 using Telnet or the serial port.
• Added support for disabling ftp access. The default setting is enabled.

The following models of the EVA iSCSI Connectivity Option (mpx100) product are available:
• HP StorageWorks EVA iSCSI Connectivity Option (AE324A)
• HP StorageWorks EVA iSCSI Upgrade Option (AE325A)
The following options are available:
• Two 4-Gb copper cables (AG311A)
• 4-Gb shortwave single SFP transceivers (A7446B)
