The terms
initiator
and
host
are used interchangeably. The initiator is the host that is accessing
the storage.
e. Click the Discovery tab, (Figure 23).

f. Click Add to add the IP address of Port 1 on the mpx100/100b.
g. Click OK to exit.
h. Click the Targets tab. The target status is Inactive (Figure 24).

i. Select a single target and then click Log On.
j. Click Automatically restore this connection when the system boots (do not enable multipath),
and then click OK (Figure 25).
The target status is Connected.
