Changing Firmware Images (fw/revert)
This command sets the alternate firmware image (image that is not currently running) to become the
active image on the next switch reset.
To revert to the alternate firmware image:
From the Firmware menu (/fw), type revert and press E
NTER.
To reset the switch and enable the alternate image to become the active image:
From the Firmware menu (fw), type reset and press E
NTER.
Displaying Current Firmware Information (fw/show)
This command displays information for the both firmware images and the boot version.
To view the current firmware information:
From the Firmware menu (fw), type show and press E
NTER.
Hardware Reset (fw/reset)
This command resets the switch hardware.
To reset the switch:
1. From the Firmware menu (fw), type reset and press E
NTER.
A confirmation request is displayed.
2. Type y and press E
NTER to proceed with the switch reset.
