Following is a description of the fields on the GBIC tab:
Identifier Indicates the type of serial transceiver, which can be GBIC or on-board.
Connector Indicates the external connector type, which can be one of the following:
• LC
• BNC/TNC
• Coaxial
ID Name Indicates the GBIC module type:
• -- No GBIC present
• sw Short wave GBIC
• lw Long wave GBIC
• swid Short wave serial ID GBIC
• lwid Short wave serial ID GBIC
• cuid Short wave serial ID GBIC
GBIC Speed Indicates the GBIC speed, which can be 100 or 200 MB/sec.
