4. ObtainandrecordtheWorldWidePortNames(WWPN)oftheHBAandtheMSAcontroller:
a. To obtain the WWPN of the HBA in the server, use the fcmsutil command from HP-UX: (The
WWPNiscalledthePortWorldWideNameinHP-UX.):

b. To obtain the WWPN of the MSA controller, use the show this_controller MSA CLI
command: (The W W PN is called the Reported Port ID in the CLI.):

c. Read the system displays and record the W W P N in the spaces provided in Table 6.
5. Download the firmware to the active controller by entering the SCU DOWNLOAD command:
NOTE:
To download new firmware to the controller, you must know the:
•Pathofthefirmware file, obtained in Step1.

• DeviceSpecialFilenameofthecontroller,obtainedinStep 3.
