3 Installation
This chapter explains how to install the Provider and other required software. When you install the
Provider, the extended storage m anagement features of VDS are enabled.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The right combination of software versions is crucial to configuring a working
system. Refer to the README files accompanying the HP Provider installation files for information about
compatible software versions and system configurations.
