18 ONLINE UPGRADE
INCOMPLETE
Error
An online rmware update was
successful, but a subsequent
step failed. In dual-controller
congurations, this may cause the
other to not update properly.
Restart the system.
In dual-controller congurations,
if the 07 CLONE FIRMWARE?
'<'=NO, '>'=YES message is
displayed, select >.
19 ONLINE UPGRADE
REDUNDANCY HALTED
Informational
In dual-controller congurations,
each controller restarts at least
once during an online rmware
update. During these restarts, the
system is not redundant.
20 INITIALIZING
SCSI SUBSYSTEM
Informational
The SCSI subsystem is being
initialized as part of the power-on
sequence.
21 SCANNING FOR
SCSI DEVICES

23 SCSI SUBSYSTEM
HARDWARE FAILURE
Error
The SCSI subsystem has
experienced a hardware failure
and is not operating correctly. The
array controller has halted itself
and cannot continue.
Contact HP support.
24 BAD SCSI BUS
MODE NON-LVD
DEVICE FOUND
Error
The MSA does not support SCSI
Single Ended (SE) devices; it
only supports SCSI Low Voltage
Differential (LVD) devices.
Power off the MSA and then
examine all attached SCSI devices.
Remove any SE devices and
replace them with LVD devices.
25 FW V

an external storage enclosure.
Do the following:
1. Remove power from the MSA
and all attached storage
enclosures.
2. Reseat all cables to the
external storage enclosures.
