Be sure to record the controller ﬁrmware version and management port IP address. (Basic MSA1510i

information)

IMPORTANT:

Depending on the IP address automatically assigned to the MSA1510i, the

MSA and its storage may be inaccessible to the network. If needed, change

the IP address through the MSA controller LCD panel. For instructions, see

“Changing the management port IP address through the MSA1510i controller display panel” on page 102.

Troubleshooting

If the LED patterns in are not displayed, or the MSA Startup Complete message is not displayed:

• Check the cable connections to the MSA1510i.

• Check the availability of your power source.

• Review the setup instructions in previous sections of this guide.

• Remove and then reinsert the module.

• Refer to the HP StorageWorks MSA1510i maintenance and service guide.
