Enhancements
0x3350 errors are no longer logged to the fault log if they require no corrective action.
The drive is more tolerant of variations in media. New functionality was added for this feature,
which will slightly increase load time.
Real Time Clock calculations are more accurate because they use 64-bit code that is supported
by the hardware.
Error rate counters are now cleared on a load rather than being cumulative since power-on.
If the cartridge memory cannot be read, the drive will now retry to read the memory for an
extended time.
Additional enhancements for the Ultrium 3280 FC (I5AW) and Ultrium 3000 SAS (Z58W) firmware
only:
Tuning value set up for more optimal reading.
Improved the ability of the locate command to position backwards over records.
Fixes
Fixed a performance issue when spacing with a particular pattern of records and filemarks.
Fixed a read performance issue that had been experienced when reading through filemarks on
fast hosts.
Enabled the use of adjacent channel information during Spacing/Locating to prevent issues with
spacing and locating errors 0x5090/0x5092.
Fixed an issue where a Write command could fail with error 0x5083 if the read channel was not
properly set up.
